1. What stays in your browser

Most of what our tools do happens on your own device. GIF-Off processes your images and videos entirely in the browser — your files are never uploaded to us. Work you have not saved stays on your device, and so do the secret keys that let you keep editing something you made without an account.

2. What we store on our servers

Some tools need to keep your work so you can come back to it, open it on another device, or share it. When you save something, it is stored in our database:

  • Tripify — a trip you save: its name, destinations, dates, the plan text you provided, its map, your notes, your packing list, and the travel companions you add (their name, and their email address if you choose to enter one).
  • Share links — for each link you create: its code, which parts of the trip it opens, and the view it points at.
  • Formulator — a vault you save, and what you put in it.
  • Empire — a game room and the entries players submit while it is running.
  • Your account, if you sign in — your email address, which trips are yours, your saved GIF-Off favorites, and which tools you have pinned.

You do not need an account to save a trip. If you save one without signing in, we cannot tell who you are: a secret key in that browser is the only thing that identifies it as yours, which is also why clearing your browser data can leave you unable to reach it.

3. Sharing is your choice

A trip you save is private until you create a share link for it. Anyone holding that link can read the parts of the trip you chose to include, without signing in, so send it only to people you mean to. You decide what each link opens, and you can revoke any link at any time from My Trips.

4. Third-Party APIs

Certain tools, such as Tripify, utilize third-party services like the Google Maps API. Where a tool offers AI assistance, it uses an API key you supply yourself, and what you send goes directly to that provider. By using these tools, you are bound by the respective API's terms of service and privacy policies (e.g., the Google Privacy Policy).

5. Google AdSense & Cookies

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements across the Simpluri Apps portal and subdomains. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.

  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to your sites and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Ads Settings.
